As we approach the end of this year's National Opera Week we wanted to share this video of the Opera Company of Philadelphia's kick off to National Opera Week at Macy’s in Philly. It begs the questions, if all of these people at Macy's are having such a wonderful time, I wonder how many of them go to see the opera when its fully staged? According to the NEA, opera is about the least popular art form there is. Do "stunts" like this help?
