Access Contemporary Music & Palomar Ensemble

In a small space in Ravenswood, a lot of waves are being made in the Chicago music community. At Access Contemporary Music, a natural first step is getting audiences comfortable with music beyond Mozart, with unusual concerts and education, but also supporting musicians and composers of the new music vein.
“We really want people to take away an updated idea of what [classical] is,” said Access Contemporary Music, executive director Seth Boustead. “This concert, we hope, brings that awareness that there’s something happening here down in Ravenswood.”
