Lincoln Trio
One of Chicago’s most celebrated ensembles, the Lincoln Trio is acclaimed for their clarity of sound, honesty of expression and captivating stage presence. The ensemble, which features violinist Desirée Ruhstrat, cellist David Cunliffe and pianist Marta Aznavoorian, takes its name from their Illinois home, the land of Lincoln. The Lincoln Trio recently toured Illinois with Ravinia President and CEO Welz Kauffman in celebration of the Abraham Lincoln Bicenntenial and performed newly composed winning works of Ravinia’s first composition competition.
