September 25, 7:00 p.m. - Midwest Young Artists will be hosting a chamber music event at the MYA Center in Highwood (878 Lyster Road, Highwood 60040) in which three distinguished members of the MYA string faculty will play a variety of music. The concert will take place in the historic MYA Center in Highwood, and the $5.00 adult entry fee covers a sampling of wine and cheese.
This is a great opportunity to visit the home of the premier youth music program in the Midwest and relax with excellent music and refreshing wine.

The Program consists of:
~ Dohnanyi, Serenade for violin, viola, cello
~ Danzi, Duo for viola and cello
~Handel - Halverson, Passacaglia for violin and viola

About Midwest Young Artists:
Midwest Young Artists is the premier youth music education and ensemble organization in the Midwest and represents some of the best young musicians in the country. The program offers exceptional training in jazz, choral, chamber and orchestral instruction. Midwest Young Artists was founded in 1993 with just one orchestra. The organization currently reaches more than 900 students over 75 communities in the metropolitan Chicago area, with students ranging in age from 12 months through 12th grade.
