Collaboratively-run Anaphora, a local leader in innovative programming, presents "Season Finale" in only one performance at Nichols Hall (1490 Chicago Ave, Evanston) on Friday, June 15th at 7:30 p.m.
The concert program offers works by Augusta Read Thomas, Gustav Mahler, Igor Stravinsky, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and explores an eclectic range of repertoire. Featured performers include pianist George Lepauw (International Beethoven Project and Beethoven Festival founder), cellist Craig Trompeter (general director of the Haymarket Opera Company), accomplished violist Dave Moss, violinist Sang Mee Lee (Music Institute of Chicago faculty member), violinist Aurelien Pederzoli (founder of both Anaphora and Spektral Quartet), and clarinetist Cory Tiffin (Principal Clarinet for Las Vegas Philharmonic and founder of Anaphora).
