Andy Richardson, Vice President with Ginny Richardson Public Relations, a boutique PR firm specializing in social media and media relations for business, healthcare, not-for-profit, arts and entertainment. Located in Hinsdale, IL, Richardson works with a wide variety of industries including clients in the arts. Recent arts clients have been New Philharmonic Orchestra, Theatre of Western Springs, Chiesa Nuova, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, The MAC at the College of DuPage, Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, and Chicago Festival Ballet.
 
In 2004 and again in 2005, Andy received Chicago’s top PR honor – the Golden Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) for excellence in public relations – marketing. Competition in this category is intense, and Andy’s campaigns were judged the best of the best.
 
In 2006 Andy received the Silver Trumpet Award for distinguished achievement in public relations from the Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) in the events marketing category.
 
Andy has been awarded one of Today’s Young Executives of 2004 by The Business Ledger and Elmhurst College Center for Professional Excellence.
 
In addition to his public relations responsibilities, Andy is director of Free Speech, a 170-member speaker’s bureau for which all speakers provide presentations in their area of expertise, at no charge, to Chicagoland organizations and groups.
 
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, San Francisco, Calif.
